A Medical Doctor with over 20 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of Medical Information systems focused on improving the results for medical organizations and patients across Spanish speaking Latin America.
He is also a founding member of Asociación Healthtech de México, where he participates in the Medical Devices and IT Standards workgroups, his main expertise is in connecting medical devices and information systems through HL7, SNOMED, and FHIR protocols to use the information generated by them for enhanced patient care and care team performance while adhering to international and local information management guidelines, including HIPAA.
